The Bible – The True and Infallible Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the true infallible Word of God, which cleanses our souls. It holds the words to eternal life and the keys to the Kingdom of God. The Bible shows us God’s principles and standards for living, and it is the food that sustains us in all circumstances

(John 1:14; 2 Timothy 3: 16-17; 1 John 2:5-6)

The Triune God

We believe that the eternal God has revealed Himself as One existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – distinguishable but indivisible.
That God created the universe and all that is in it, including humankind. That humankind was tested and fell into sin, and are unable to redeem themselves and obtain righteousness acceptable to God.

The Life of Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and was sinless. That He alone can redeem humankind from their sinful state and make them acceptable to God through his atoning blood. This acceptance is gained by faith, through grace alone, and not by human works.

That Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, was buried and rose again on the third day for our justification. That He was the exact representation of his Heavenly Father whom He revealed to his brethren so that we can rightly call his Father our Father, his God our God.

That Jesus bodily ascended into heaven, was exalted by the father and will come again for all true believers, his church.

The Life of a Believer

We believe that a believer is to be baptized in water by total immersion and this is done unto the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That a person must be born again by the Holy Spirit to see the kingdom of God, and should be baptized in the Holy Spirit – normally this is accompanied by the ability to speak in tongues. However, a believer may receive the Holy Spirit but not actually speak in tongues.

That people can be healed physically and spiritually in the power of Jesus’ name through his redemptive work on the cross.

Judgement

We believe that there exists a real Satan with a host of fallen angels (or demons), but that they are already defeated and so will be finally confined under God’s judgment forever.

That there is eternal life for believers and eternal judgment for unbelievers.

Unity

That there is one true universal Church made of genuine born again believers from throughout the ages.
